Imagine a tiny flower embryo encapsulated in a bulb waiting for water and sunlight to burst forth...

what a joy to see in the flowerless winter.... 

Milkweeds---Sturdy plant comes back each year. Didn't notice it was perennial 'til it smacked me in the face each year in the same spot. Great joy in any season--from flowers with a heavenly smell to gossamer fluff, and seeds all in a row. Don't get the sap on you, tho'! Wonder if the sap would work as a natural glue??

Warm Friends

So many of the joys of life are warm and fuzzy. Such is my poodle/shih tzu girl!
